month of all things art.
At the heart of it all is the
Lompoc Chalks Festival,
October 12, 13 and 14.
Many artists and vendors
have signed up, but we
have a few spots left.
Two giant blacktop canvases with be filled on that artistic
weekend, surrounded by wine, beer, food and vendors of all
flavors. There is still time to become a sponsor of this event.
All proceeds go to The Lompoc Theatre Project, the non-profit
group renovation the historic 1927 Lompoc Theatre.

CALL TO ACTION – ARTISTS, VENDORS AND SPONSORS WANTED
he competition was fierce but fun was stole the evening as a sell out crowd of over 30 teams tested their knowledge
across many topics at Trivia Night hosted at Sage Restaurant by the Lompoc Community Education Foundation.
The goal: raise funds for K-12 classroom grants proposed by teachers in the Lompoc Unified School District along
with raise funds for 3 senior scholarships, one from each high school in Lompoc.
Trivia Night, the annual fundraiser for the Lompoc Community Education Foundation, raised over $7,000, a record
for the organization. The Foundation Trivia Night Gold Sponsor was Measure Y – Hancock College and Community
Sponsors were Coast Hills Federal Credit Union, Grocery Outlet and Surf Connection, all of which are committed to the
education of our youth in Lompoc. In addition, Ross Store Foundation continues to be a generous supporter of the Lompoc
Community Education Foundation’s K-12 mini grant and senior scholarship programs
The Foundation thanks these fine organizations and the entire community for its tremendous support of the event.
