The show will be on exhibit from July 30 - August 29, 2021. Diane is a native Californian. She was born and raised in San Diego and graduated from the University of Oregon in education. FEATURED ARTIST SHOW FOR AUGUST 202 DIANE ATTURIO She lived with her husband and three children in Ven- tura for 27 years and received most of her art education at Ventura Community College. When her husband retired in 2003, they built their home in the Lompoc countryside. Diane is inspired by her surroundings. “Nature feeds my soul”. Watercolor is her first love, but she enjoys work - ing in oils, colored pencil, clay and col- lage. ”While hiking in the back country, I’ve grown to appreciate the local native plants. My show is just a sampling of the plants I have watched change and bloom throughout the years”. Please come by and check out the show and meet the artist. T he Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau invites the community to their Annual Awards Banquet on Wednesday, Au- gust 18th at the Dick Dewees Community & Senior Center located on 1120 West Ocean Avenue in Lompoc, California. The banquet is dedicated to celebrating the businesses, community, and in- dividuals that provided outstanding community support within the Lompoc Valley during The Covid 19 pandemic. The Chamber will be presenting the Awards to businesses and individuals in five industry sectors that represent the Lompoc Community. Registration deadline for the Annual Awards Banquet is Tuesday August 3rd, and the cost is $60 per person. A full course meal, with dessert, will be catered by Vilay Saikeo of Savory and Sweet Eats. Doors will open at 6:00 pm for check-in and cocktail hour, and the program will begin at 7:00 pm. The banquet is sponsored by the Allan Hancock, Explore Lompoc and Union Bank.
